2017 IS ALMOST OVER, and that means it’s time to talk about dental insurance. Most dental plans don’t let the benefits roll over into the next year if they go unused. If you haven’t yet taken advantage of all your benefits, then now is the time to do so!
You are very fortunate to have dental insurance. Dental coverage can reduce your out-of-pocket costs for care. Jenn, Emma, and Meghan work very diligently to ensure that you will receive the maximum benefit available for any required services. You will only be responsible for the deductibles and copayments required by your plan and payment for any services that are not covered by your plan. Be aware, even the best plans have limitations and exclusions that prevent it from covering all costs associated with your care. The best course of action would be to call and speak with Jenn, Emma, or Meghan about your particular plan to give you the best idea what your plan will cover.
Most commonly, insurance plans will cover two exams per year. This is usually your six-month cleaning with your dental hygienist and exam with Dr. Mundy. Also, most insurance plans will cover a certain percentage of your restoration treatment (Fillings, Crowns, etc.) based on the pre-determined maximum of your particular plan.Grin Dentistry offers N2O2 (laughing gas) as a complimentary service to all patients upon request, rather than submitting to insurance. This is so we can best create the most relaxing and comfortable environment for you during your visit. Dr. Mundy's top priorities are your health, your comfort, the overall appearance of your smile, and the long-term success of all dental care she provides.
